In My Room

This Flash video is dedicated to a private space, my room, my closest and most intimate surrounding. This is where I sleep, work, read, communicate by email, and where I receive reflections of world events via the Internet, radio, magazines and newspapers, etc.

The sphere of private life inevitably combines the intimate, small, almost marginal details of everyday life with world events--- influential events such as wars, catastrophes, political crises, art, entertainment, various destinies, unusual stories, or historical testimonies.

As within my room, in everyone's room there are permanent clashes of the intimate and the global; of relative calmness with the excitements of the day. This short video is a visual reflection of that state. It represent a research of my own close surroundings, an archeology of privacy and a simultaneous registration of the world's impacts, together creating a dynamic amalgam.
