reports about the police brutality in Genoa came in and most speak about
overexcessive force by police. After the killing of one demonstrator,
it was reported from Genoa that police violence INCREASED, rather than decreased,
what would have been expected. Wounded people were taken out of hospitals and
arrested. The police attacks in many occasions came on non-violent groups,
whereas the more aggresive demonstrators were left alone. This struck demonstrators
as bizarre.
