                   ETHNIC ALBANIAN TERRORISTS BEAT
A  SERB CIVILIAN TO DEATH, NEARLY
                   KILL ANOTHER

Ethnic Albanian terrorists in the Yugoslav
republic of Serbia's Kosovo province abducted
two brothers on Saturday Feb. 27, beating one
of them to death and nearly killing the other

The two brothers - Serbs Dobrivoje and Novica
Savelic - were abducted on Saturday Feb. 27 from
their native  village of Velika Hoca in Orahovac
municipality,  and were taken in the direction of the
reported ethnic Albanian stronghold of Dragobilje.

The abductors beat Dobrivoje Savelic to death, and
                   nearly killed his brother Novica.

                   Monsters In KLA Uniforms

Ethnic Albanian terrorists brutally and cruelly beat
to death Dobrivoje Savelic (42) from Velika Hoca,
father of three children. His younger brother Novica
                   (38) survived monstrous tortures and is gradually
recovering in Pristina hospital. The incident took
place on Saturday when brothers went to the nearby
                   forest to cut woods.

"There we were surrounded by uniformed ethnic
Albanian terrorists that carried automatic weapons.
We did not try to resist them, as we were not armed.
They cuffed us, blindfolded us and took us to the
nearby road where a vehicle was waiting. It was a
pick up truck, I think it was of Volkswagen make. We
were driven for about an hour, and then they put us in
a jeep, and after a two-hour drive we stopped. We
did not know where we were, and they did not allow
us to talk. Immediately after we had arrived at that
place they started to torture us. At first they took me
to a room, and my brother stayed in the yard. They
beat me on my torso, head, arms, legs, back, chest,
and soles of my feet. They cursed everything
Serbian. They beat me with wooden bars, sticks,
rods, and their legs. They stabbed me with a knife in
a right side of my back, and made two cuts on my
throat. One cut is10 and the other is 7 centimeters
long. After that I was almost unconscious, and they
through me out of the room, and brought my brother
Dobrivoje inside. I was still blindfolded and cuffed.
I heard a terrible scream and cries of help. I knew
that my brother was being savagely beaten. While he
was screaming with pain I cried for help, but they
answered with kicking me with their legs and beating
me sticks. Then my brother and I were removed to
the room in the attic. They continued to torture us
there, and then they threw my brother down the stares
from the second floor. I did not know whether he
was still alive or not. When they brought him to the
room they removed our blindfolds, and that was the
first time I saw my brother since we had been
kidnapped. His whole body was black and blue with
bruises, and his nose and mouth were bleeding. He
tried to swallow some water, but he couldn't. I
realized he was dying and came closer to help him.
Finally, he was no longer in pain, he died, and I
stopped calling for help. Only then a man who said
he was a doctor came in. He only said that my
brother was dead and went out", Saveljic said. "On
the next day, on Sunday, they cuffed and blindfolded
me again, put me in a jeep and started to drive. I did
not know where my brother Dobrivoje was. While
we were driving, I felt a body beneath my feet, and
then I knew my brother was in the car. At petrol
station Pacarizi, near Dragobilje village, they
stopped the vehicle, removed cuffs and blindfolds
from me and handed my brother and me to
representatives of OSCE Mission", Saveljic ended
                   his tragic story.
